At Gregory’s Gang, we provide a warm, caring and exciting environment where children can relax, play, create and thrive before and after the school day. Our dedicated team ensures that every child feels safe, supported and valued, while having lots of fun with friends.

A Great Start to the Day

Our Breakfast Club offers a healthy and enjoyable start each morning. Children can choose from a selection of cereals, toast, fresh fruit and drinks while spending time with friends in a calm and welcoming atmosphere. Quiet activities are available to help children ease into the school day feeling happy and ready to learn.

Fun-Filled Afternoons

After school, Gregory’s Gang becomes a hub of activity and adventure! Children can enjoy a tasty snack, including options such as sandwiches, hot dogs, fresh fruit and drinks, before choosing from a range of exciting activities.

There is something for everyone, including:

  • Outdoor play and games
  • Arts and crafts
  • Creative and imaginative play
  • Sporting activities
  • Construction and STEM challenges
  • Board games and puzzles
  • A quiet area for reading, relaxation or homework

Our sessions encourage friendship, creativity, confidence and independence, all while reflecting our school values of Be Kind • Be Fair • Be Honest.

Collection Information

To ensure the safety of all children, parents and carers are asked to ring the doorbell in the entrance porch when arriving to collect their child if the school office is closed.

At Gregory's Gang, we are proud to offer more than childcare. We provide a happy, nurturing community where children can learn, laugh, make friends and enjoy every moment of their time with us.

Opening Times:

  • Breakfast Club: 7:45 am – 8:55 am

  • After School Club: 3:15 pm – 6:00 pm

Charges:

  • Breakfast Club: £4 per day

  • After School Club: £8 per day and £7.50 for each additional sibling

Breakfast Club
Our Breakfast Club runs daily from 7:45 am, offering children a healthy breakfast in a relaxed and supervised environment. It’s a great opportunity for children to socialise with friends before the school day begins. The cost is £4 per session. For more information, please speak with Mrs. Grady.

After School Club
The After School Club operates every day until 6:00 pm, at a cost of £8 per session (£7.50 for additional siblings). Children are engaged in a variety of activities and have the chance to prepare and enjoy healthy snacks together. For further details, please contact Mrs. Grady.

Bookings

Bookings for Gregory’s Gang can be made in two ways:

  • In person at the school office

  • Via email at ascbookings@st-gregorys-pri.lancs.sch.uk

We ask that bookings are made at least one week in advance. In the event of a cancellation, we require 24 hours’ notice. Failure to provide this notice may result in the full charge for the session, as staffing is arranged based on the number of children booked in.

An attendance register is maintained for each session, and parents are requested to sign their child in when dropping them off and out when collecting them.

Payment

Payments for Gregory’s Gang can be made via the following methods:

  • Childcare Vouchers: We accept all major childcare voucher schemes. Our registered Ofsted reference number is 119763.

  • Cheque: Please make cheques payable to St Gregory’s Out of School Club.

  • BACS Transfer:

Staffing:

The Manager of Gregory’s Gang’s is Mrs Carla Grady. The vast majority of other members of staff are also teaching assistants who already know the children well from working with them in the classroom. Staffing is calculated based on numbers attending so that correct ratios for supervision are always maintained.

As Manager of Gregory’s Gang, and working closely with Mr Darbyshire, our Headteacher, and the school Governors our aim is to deliver faith-led wraparound care, nurturing families, strengthening our community, and working in partnership with parents to support every child, especially during school holidays when families need it most.

Looking ahead, we are committed to growing and expanding our provision so every family feels supported, valued and included.
