A very warm welcome to St Gregory’s Early Years Foundation Stage, where your child’s exciting journey through school begins.
We believe that every child is unique, and from the moment they join us, we take time to understand their individual strengths, interests and next steps in learning. Through careful assessment and personalised planning, we provide the right balance of support and challenge to help every child flourish and achieve their full potential.
Our nurturing environment offers a rich blend of adult-led learning and child-initiated play, enabling children to develop confidence, independence and a lifelong love of learning. Each day, children enjoy access to both our stimulating indoor and outdoor learning spaces, where they can explore, discover and engage in a wide range of exciting experiences that promote their development across all areas of the EYFS curriculum.
At St Gregory’s, our school motto, "Be Kind • Be Fair • Be Honest," is embedded from the very start of a child’s school journey. These values are woven through daily life in EYFS and are underpinned by our strong Catholic ethos, helping children to develop respect, compassion, honesty and a sense of belonging within our school community. Through Gospel values and positive relationships, we encourage children to grow not only as learners but also as caring and responsible individuals.
